What is the cost of a custom closet?

Cost is dependent on numerous factors, such as the amount of shelving, number of drawers, type of finish, accessories and the size of the closet or storage space. Just like building a house can vary widely in cost – so too can building a custom closet. Very generally speaking, a small reach-in closet can start at $250, and a small walk-in closet can start at $1,000.

What is included in the cost of a custom closet?

A professional designer meets with you to assess your needs, then takes special care to plan the best use of your space. Then, 2D and 3D pictures are rendered using specialized software, so you can see what you’ll be getting. Second, we use superior material in your custom closet. It’s far better than anything you would find in a hardware or home décor store. Third, we custom cut the material specifically for your closet. That means every piece is made to measure. This requires specialized equipment and material orders to be filled separately (versus bulk orders). Fourth, your peace of mind is assured because our custom closets are professionally installed and covered by warranty. Lastly – beyond the benefits of having a closet or storage space specifically tailored to your needs – our closets also add resale value to your home.

Timelines?

We strive to deliver a quote and design work within a week of your consultation. Timing can also depend on how quickly you need this information. After you have decided on the purchase and placed your order, it takes four weeks to install standard-finish closets.

How long does installation take?

It depends on the size of a closet. A small closet might take a couple of hours to install, while a large closet might take three days.
